Healthy Lung Support Starts Here

Mullein drops, also called mullein tincture or mullein extract, are a liquid herbal extract made from the leaves of the mullein plant (Verbascum thapsus). You take them by mouth, either under your tongue or stirred into a drink, so the plant compounds absorb without steeping a tea or swallowing a capsule.

Mullein has a long history of traditional use for respiratory support. Its leaves contain saponins and mucilage, which is why it's valued as an expectorant that helps move mucus and a demulcent that soothes irritated mucous membranes. In Super Lungs, it anchors a 7-herb formula for clear breathing.

The Super Lungs serving is 2 full droppers, once a day. Draw the liquid to the top of the dropper twice, and that's your daily amount. Most people take it in the morning, though any consistent time of day works.

If you're used to seeing mullein doses written in milliliters or drops, 2 full droppers works out to about 2 mL or 1/2 teaspoon. Take the full serving from the start, and stay consistent day to day, since botanical support builds gradually with regular use.

Either works, and both are right on the label. For the fastest absorption, place 2 full droppers under your tongue, hold for about 20 to 30 seconds, then swallow. If you'd rather skip the herbal taste, mix the same 2 droppers into water, juice, or tea.

Morning is the usual choice, but any time of day is fine, with or without food. The thing that matters most when taking herbal tinctures is consistency, so pick a time you'll remember and take it daily. The formula is designed to build support with regular use.

Mullein has been used in traditional herbal practice for centuries to support the respiratory system, and that history is a big reason it anchors this formula. Modern interest centers on its role as an expectorant and demulcent, with compounds in the leaf associated with supporting healthy mucus flow and easing the feeling of irritation in the airways.

It helps to be clear about what that means. Mullein supports your lungs' normal function and comfort; it isn't a treatment for any medical condition, and it won't undo the effects of smoking or pollution on its own. Mullein is generally well tolerated. The reactions people report are usually mild, such as skin or throat irritation, or an allergic response in those sensitive to related plants. If you notice any reaction, stop taking it.

Check with your doctor before starting if you're pregnant or nursing, taking prescription medication, or managing a lung or other health condition, since a professional can weigh mullein against your situation and anything else you take. A quick conversation is the safest way to decide if it's right for you.

There's no overnight switch with botanicals. Because Super Lungs is built to support your respiratory system gradually, most people take it daily for a stretch before noticing a difference, with many describing more open, comfortable breathing over the first few weeks of consistent use.

Treat it as a daily habit. Continued use over the following months is where the formula is designed to support lasting respiratory comfort and resilience, so staying regular matters more than any single dose.

It comes down to absorption, dosing, and convenience. Liquid drops absorb quickly and let you take a precise, consistent serving. Capsules are convenient but work more slowly, and a standard powder capsule is often a 1:1 strength instead of the 10:1 concentrated extract in Super Lungs, so you get less active botanical per serving.

Tea is the traditional route, though mullein's fine leaf hairs need careful straining and steeping gives you less control over the dose. Making your own tincture is possible too, but it takes several weeks of steeping and comes with no third-party potency testing. Drops keep the routine simple while delivering a measured, lab-tested serving.
